‍ The Cultural Phenomenon of the 27 Club which dates back to 1892 when the “first” unfortunate talented mortal died at the age of 27, Alexandre Levy (January 17th 1892, Cause of death not recorded) who was a Pianist & Composer.

The Club grew and so did the mystery and the conspiracy stories, by the time it got to Jimi Hendrix in 1970 the club had grown to 14, all died at the age of 27.

Why do Firevolt Rock festival use aspects of the 27 Club and who is Voltairre and what is she to do with the 27 Club?

‍The connection is purely fictional, when Stret & Bev created the festival they were looking for a mascot/character to be recognisable with the festival, Stret remembered a very vivid event that happened to him when he was just 16

‍ ‍

When Bev & I started to discuss a Character for the festival, I remembered that girl with the pole on fire behind her as Slade blew everyone away. We named her ‘Voltairre’ after sketching some images of which she had a lance that lighting volts shot out of…….weirdly we had to change the name of the festival and FireVOLT fitted perfectly!

For us, its again fictional that “Voltairre” is inducting talented Rock n Rollers to put in her 27 Club but what we do know is……something weird is going on there!
